About Cookies
Cookies help our site remember you and keep the lights on. Here is what we set, who else sets them, and how you stay in control.
A. What cookies are
Cookies are tiny files that your browser stores at a website's request. On a return visit, they let the site tell that your device has been there before. Session cookies vanish as soon as you end your visit. Persistent ones stay on your device until the date they are set to expire, unless you delete them sooner.
Similar tools such as tracking pixels and browser storage work much the same way. Here, we handle them exactly like cookies.
B. Third-party cookies
Not every cookie here is ours: some are dropped by our partners. Among them:
- analytics tools that count traffic;
- payment and verification partners that secure the cashier;
- advertising partners that measure our ads.
Each partner follows its own privacy rules. We choose partners with care and limit what they receive.
C. Analytics cookies
These count visits, show which pages draw a crowd and flag errors. We use the totals to fix slow pages and sharpen the lobby. They run only if you say yes.
D. Marketing cookies
These show which ads bring players in and stop the same ad flashing at you again and again. They never run without your consent, and declining them changes nothing about your play.
E. Managing or switching them off
First visit? A banner asks whether optional cookies are fine by you. Second thoughts? Tap Cookie Settings, down at the foot of every page, and switch your choice anytime.
Your browser can also wipe or block cookies. Shut out all of them, though, and logging in or the cashier may fail, since both depend on the necessary cookies described below.
F. Functional cookies
They remember choices like your language, whether sound is on, and the games you played lately. Disable them and everything still runs, but the site forgets more about you between visits.
G. Strictly necessary cookies
These do the heavy lifting:
- keeping you logged in during play;
- securing the cashier and your payments;
- supporting geolocation and fraud checks;
- storing the cookie choices you make.
Without them the site cannot function, so they are always active. They are never used for advertising tracking.
H. Changes
If our cookies change, we revise this page and the date shown on it. For our wider approach to personal data, see our Privacy Policy. Send any questions to [email protected].
